Do you feel the life energy flowing through your body? Sometimes I do, but regularly it also feels somewhat extinguished. Last week I was invited in an intense session with Geertje Noorlander to connect to my inner fire, and I felt an unprecedented primal power in my body and my life.
In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it’s so easy to lose touch with our passions, dreams, and the essence of who we are. We are burned out by obligations, routines, and the expectations of others, gradually extinguishing the flame that once burned so brightly within us. It is not for nothing that there are more and more people with burnout complaints. The word burnout says it all, burnt out. And… I know that deep within each of us lies an untapped reservoir of potential, waiting to be rekindled. By reconnecting with our inner fire, we can truly manifest ourselves and live a purposeful and fulfilling life. If I can do it, so can you!
In this blog we will explore the importance of (re)kindling your inner fire and how it can enable you to manifest your true self.
1. Understand your inner fire: your inner fire represents your passion, sexuality, anger and the unique energy that drives you (your life energy). It is that spark that ignites your creativity, motivates you to chase your dreams and propels you forward in life. Think about the activities, interests, and dreams that once made you feel alive. Identify what stirs your soul and gives you a sense of purpose. Recognize that your inner fire is the essence of your being and a vital part of your journey to self-manifestation.
2. Rediscover your passions: Rekindling your inner fire starts with reconnecting with your passions. Take the time to discover what really turns you on (yes, that can literally be sexuality) and what makes you happy. Engage in activities that lighten your soul, whether it’s painting, writing, playing an instrument, or spending time in nature. Rediscover the hobbies or interests you may have put aside because of life’s demands. Allow yourself the playful freedom to indulge in activities that fuel your passion and awaken your inner fire.
3. Cultivate Self-Awareness: Self-awareness is a fundamental aspect of rekindling your inner fire. Take a step back and examine your life, values and aspirations. Understand what really matters to you and align your actions with your authentic self. This process involves being honest with yourself, acknowledging your strengths and weaknesses, and embracing your unique qualities. Cultivating self-awareness allows you to make conscious choices that bring you closer to your true desires
4. Recognize and release limiting beliefs: Limiting beliefs often choke our inner fire and keep us from manifesting our full potential. Challenge the negative thoughts and self-doubt that diminish your confidence and hinder your progress. Replace these limiting beliefs with positive affirmations and empowering thoughts. Embrace a growth mindset that allows you to see setbacks as opportunities for growth and learning. By revising your mindset, you can unleash the power of your inner fire. Divide your ambitions into actionable steps and set realistic goals. Embrace the courage to step outside your comfort zone and pursue opportunities that resonate with your inner fire. Trust your intuition and let it guide you to the experiences and relationships that align with your true self.
6. Nurture your inner fire: Just as a fire needs fuel and attention to keep burning, your inner fire needs nourishment. Surround yourself with supportive and like-minded individuals who uplift and inspire you. Find mentors, coaches or communities that promote personal growth and encourage your authenticity. Take care of your physical and mental well-being through self-care practices such as meditation, dancing, Reiki, exercise, and healthy habits. By feeding your inner fire, you ensure continuous growth and vitality.
7. Light a fire: As without so within, so if you have a deep desire to fuel your inner fire, then literally connect with the element of fire as well. If you have a fire pit, make a nice fire. For example, you can write down on a block of wood all the things you want to let go of and then put them in the fire with attention.
(Re)kindling your inner fire is a powerful process that allows you to manifest your true self in all aspects of life. As you fuel your passions, cultivate self-awareness, overcome limiting beliefs, and take inspired action, your fire is fueled and you bring your light into the world.
